Built for Those Who Value Creativity, Process, and Lasting Quality

New Construction

Partnering with clients from architectural planning through final furnishing, ensuring design intent is protected at every phase.

Large Scale Renovations

Transforming established homes with comprehensive design and construction coordination that eliminates costly miscommunication.

Boutique Commercial

Translating brand identity into physical space with the same precision and attention we bring to residential work.

Our integrated model is designed for projects where design decisions, documentation rigor, and construction oversight matter.  We partner with homeowners and business owners undertaking new construction, significant renovations, and comprehensive multi-space transformations.

Bridging the Gap Between Design and Construction

When Design Vision and Construction Expertise Work Together

Every project begins with a vision, but implementing that vision requires planning, clear documentation, and coordination throughout the construction process. Without this level of planning and oversight, details can easily get lost through field decisions or miscommunication.

At SDG, we solve this gap by translating a vision into build ready documentation and manage every detail of the project through completion. This integrated approach protects your investment, timeline, and piece of mind.

Why is Swatch Different?

Integrated Design +
Construction Management

We speak both design and construction languages fluently. This eliminates the costly miscommunication that happens when design and build operate separately.

Complete Upfront
Planning

Every design decision, material selection, and fixture choice is finalized before construction begins. This helps eliminate reactive shopping and mid-project surprises.

Professional
Team Structure

You will be working with a multi-disciplinary team throughout the duration of your project. This ensures continuity, diverse expertise, and the capacity to handle complex projects without bottlenecks.

Meticulous
Documentation

Our construction documents and design boards are beautiful and build ready. Contractors know exactly what to execute, which eliminates field interpretation and protects design integrity.

Our Process

A Clear Path From Vision to Execution

Preplanning & Conceptual Design

We start by learning about your life, your values, and your goals. This phase establishes a clear vision, defines the scope of work, and aligns the overall direction of the project. From there, we develop and present original design concepts for your review and approval.

1

Design & Budget Development

We advance the design with detailed development, defining material specifications, and establishing an initial construction budget to ensure every decision is precisely documented.

2

Final Design Approval

Before construction starts, you sign off on the full vision, from detailed renderings to final design boards and construction documents. This creates less surprises in the field.

3

Design Management

During construction, our team remains actively involved to ensure the design is carried through as intended. We coordinate with contractors and vendors, attend on-site meetings, review shop drawings and field changes, and assist with any necessary reselections.

4

Construction Management

We manage construction, coordinate the trades, and safeguard the integrity of the design. You stay updated without the day to day oversight.

Jenna Sluiter

Operations Assistant

Jenna began her design journey by working with a local home builder in her early twenties. Walking through construction sites, flipping through blueprints, and reflecting on how a finished space could feel has all fueled her passion for design and the industry. After starting her family, she joined her family business where she worked for 17 years and was responsible for helping operations run smoothly. That early spark of passion for design never left her and joining Swatch felt like the perfect next step. Her experience of multitasking, problem solving, and thinking through projects and processes in a way that reflects clarity, integrity, and care makes her an essential asset to our team. Her love of supporting her teammates behind the scenes and anticipating needs before they arise all help her thrive in her role. When she is not coordinating projects, you can find her exploring the outdoors, discovering new restaurants, and soaking up every moment with her husband and two sons.
